With the development of power supply technology, electronic instruments and equipment are now safer and more reliable in performance, their functions are continuously enhanced, and their use is becoming more and more automated. The continuous development of these electronic technologies and their applications is inseparable from power adapters. Power adapters have been more and more widely used in computers, communications, aerospace, home appliances, etc., and there are more and more types of power adapters. Today, I will simply make an inventory for you. What are the classifications of adapters?
1. Classified by modulation method:
① Pulse width modulation switching power supply adapter. The oscillation frequency remains unchanged, and the output voltage is changed and adjusted by changing the pulse width. Sometimes, the sampling circuit, coupling circuit, etc. are used to form a feedback closed-loop loop to stabilize the amplitude of the output voltage.
② Frequency modulation switching power supply adapter. The duty cycle remains constant, and the amplitude of the output voltage is adjusted and stabilized by changing the oscillation frequency of the oscillator.
③ Mixed modulation switching power supply adapter. Regulation and stabilization of the amplitude of the output voltage is accomplished by adjusting the oscillation frequency of the on-time.
2. Classification by incentive method:
① Separately excited switching regulated power adapter. An oscillator for an excitation signal is provided in the circuit.
② Self-excited switching regulator power adapter. The switching tube doubles as the oscillator tube in the oscillator.
3. Classification according to circuit structure:
① Parts-type switching regulated power supply adapter. The entire switching regulated power supply adapter circuit is composed of discrete components, and its structure is relatively complex and its reliability is poor.
② Integrated circuit switching regulated power supply adapter. The entire switching regulated power supply adapter circuit or part of the circuit is composed of integrated circuits, which are usually thick film circuits. Some thick film integrated circuits include switching tubes, while others do not include switching tubes. This switching power supply adapter is characterized by simple circuit structure, convenient debugging and high reliability.
