Instructions for Use

 

1. Before use, refer to the power label and confirm that the input grid voltage is within a fixed range;

2. The calculation formula for AC input current: Input current=output power ÷ input voltage ÷ input power factor ÷ power supply efficiency;

3. Please do not open the cover of the power supply or disassemble the power supply to prevent electric shock or damage to the product;

4. For personal safety and to reduce interference, please confirm that the safety grounding wire is reliably connected to the ground;

5. To improve the lifespan of the power supply, maintain a distance between the power supply and cooling equipment during installation;

6. When technicians test the switch power supply, the method is to use an oscilloscope with a bandwidth of 20MHz. To avoid the influence of external radiation and interference, please remove the ground wire clamp of the probe during testing, connect the ground wire ring of the probe to the ground wire of the power output, and connect the probe to the output voltage terminal of the power supply.

 

Repair Method for Power Adapter

 

In the event of a power outage, observe, smell, ask, and measure.

Look: Open the outer shell of the power supply, check if the fuse is blown, and then observe the internal condition of the power supply. If there are burnt areas or broken components on the PCB board of the power supply, the focus should be on checking the components and related circuit components in this area.

Smell: Smell if there is any burning smell inside the power supply and check if there are any burnt components.

Question: May I ask about the process of the power supply damage and whether there have been any violations of the power supply.

Measure: Before powering on, use a multimeter to measure the voltage at both ends of the high-voltage capacitor. If the fault is caused by the failure of the switching power supply to vibrate or the open circuit of the switching tube, in most cases, the voltage at both ends of the high-voltage filtering capacitor is not discharged, and this voltage is over 300 volts. Be careful. Measure the forward and reverse resistance at both ends of the AC power line and the charging status of the capacitor using a multimeter. The resistance value should not be too low, otherwise there may be a short circuit inside the power supply. Capacitors should be able to charge and discharge. Disconnect the load and measure the ground resistance of each group of output terminals. Normally, the meter needle should have capacitor charging and discharging oscillation, and the final indication should be the resistance value of the discharge resistance of the circuit.
