Power adapters are widely used in various industries, such as POS systems, cash registers, smart security devices, commercial display advertising machines, facial recognition technology, scanners, and more. Different products have different requirements for the size of the DC head on the power adapter. The types of DC heads can be roughly classified as follows:
- 2.5*0.7 (outer diameter * inner diameter, the same below): Referred to as DC2507, this size is mainly used for small electronic products with limited space, such as tablets, mini electronic devices, etc. Currently, tablets from major brands are charged using MicroUSB interfaces.
- 3.5*1.35 (DC35135): Mainly used for network set-top boxes, USB HUB external power supplies, network cameras, LED desk lamps, etc.
- 4.0*1.7 (DC4017): Mainly used for mobile DVD players, EVD players, PSP consoles, and some network set-top boxes.
- 5.5*2.1 (DC5521): This is the most widely used DC round head interface, commonly found in surveillance cameras, some set-top boxes, LED desk lamps, digital appliances, printers, scanners, etc.
- 5.5*2.5 (DC5525): Mainly used for devices with slightly higher power requirements, such as some laptops and electric vehicles.
The most commonly used sizes are 5.52.1 and 5.52.5. Power adapters with these DC head specifications account for more than 95% of our company's shipments.
