The power socket specifications of countries around the world can be classified into six main types:

  1. Parallel flat pin plug
  2. Double round pin plug (large)
  3. Double round pin plug (small)
  4. Triangular plug with one vertical and two horizontal pins
  5. V-shaped flat pin plug
  6. Triple round pin plug (large)

 

Different socket specifications require corresponding plugs. The plugs can be categorized into the following five types:

 

National Standard Plug (Type I)

Features: Three flat pins.

Applicable Regions: China, Australia, New Zealand, Argentina.

American Standard Plug (Type A/B)

Features: One round pin and two flat pins.

Applicable Regions: United States, Canada, Japan, Brazil, the Philippines, Thailand, and other countries and regions.
